This month’s edition of Loving Lately is all about the beauty products!
NYX cosmetics make a lot of great, affordable products. The Butter Gloss is unbeatable in my opinion. Tiramisu is my favorite shade but I own at least 6 of them! I picked the Brow Gel up at Ulta a few weeks ago and it is my favorite brow product! I use an angled MAC brush to apply it and it stays all day! I don’t even need to use clear gel to set it—it’s waterproof and smudgeproof so it doesn’t come off until I take it off.
Winter weather is hard on skin, but my lips really suffer. To keep them looking fresh and healthy, I use a lip scrub twice a week. Lipstick or gloss just doesn’t look good on chapped lips and it doesn’t feel good either, so keep them in tip top shape!
The Body Shop’s tea tree oil mask is a staple year-round for me. My skin feels really clean after I use it.
I got Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes for Christmas and I love this sweet scent. (The packaging is pretty too!)
Winter time is CND Shellac time for my nails—I wash my hands constantly and my nails get brittle and break down. I love how strong it makes them feel!
I got these shoes months ago, so this was their debut! On my toes: Essie Geranium
I was in Target last week and wanted to try something new. I have tons of lipsticks, glosses, stains, balms, you name it. I have drugstore lipsticks and department store lipsticks and I love them all. I picked up Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede in Finale and I have to say, it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a lipstick! It’s matte, actually stays on all day, doesn’t crack, and comes off easily when I want it to! Like I said, it’s matte, so if you want some shine add a little MAC Lipglass on top. When it comes to vibrant shades, I prefer the matte look. It didn’t dry my lips out either!
It’s that time of year–you know what I’m talking about–that time of year when you eagerly check the forecast each night HOPING that tomorrow is the day you can liberate your toes from their shoes after a long, long winter! That time of year when you start slathering your feet in the best moisturizer money can buy (after you coat them in Vaseline first) and getting two pedicures a month.
It’s SANDAL SEASON!!
Here are some pedicure-baring looks I can’t wait to slip on:
Lilly Pulitzer, Zappos.com
DV Dolce Vita “Tremor”; Zappos.comThese come in tons of beautiful colors! I just love this neon pink!
Tory Burch flip flop; toryburch.com Great for the pool, beach, or running around town!
